mikesusername, and I decided to make a Vegan Recipes blog because my friends asked me to start posting recipes.
I came up with each final recipe myself, though some of them are partially borrowed from friends, family, websites, cookbooks, etc. Most of the things will be made from scratch, but baked things (bread for French toast, dough for a pizza, etc) will usually not, and I often use canned beans, diced tomatoes, etc. For the most part however, I encourage as many ingredients as possible to be fresh and organic.
I have attempted to get precise measurements for these, but they are highly flexible. Cooking is an art, not a science. If this page develops well and many are reading it, I may start adding a basic cooking page (rice preparation, etc) and a measurements page. For now, a simple internet search should be able to tell you those things. I also plan to alphabetize and provide links all recipes when there are enough for that.
